Who is Moffitt Cancer Center?
As the only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida, Moffitt serves over 97,000 patients each year in its pursuit to cure and prevent cancer.
With seven current locations throughout the Tampa metro area, the Speros Outpatient Center and Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Center will be its eighth location. This clinic and Proton Therapy facility will bring Moffitt providers closer to patients living to the west and north of Tampa.
Moffitt is dedicated to investing the resources needed to save more lives by improving cancer survival rates for Florida's growing population. In addition to treating patients at Speros, Moffitt is also building a 250,000 sq ft research building equipped with the latest technology to support cancer research.
